Assessment of the patient’s injury, chronicity of pain including type and severity, related mood, function and psychosocial factors enable us to tailor a treatment plan that utilises our multi-disciplinary capacity to cover medical, physical, psychological and educational aspects of treatment. We ensure that we closely follow the clinical framework to ensure that the service we provide is aligned to best possible practice.
Dr Speldewinde is committed to giving back to the medical community by publishing papers on treatments we offer. Information on the outcomes of treatments has been gathered over the last 2 decades and been compiled into papers for other health professionals to better understand the effectiveness of our services. Currently he has presentations at Australian Pain Society, ACT Health, International Neuromodulation Society, Spine Intervention Society, and Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.
The next project is exploring the influence of pre-treatment expectation on the outcome of that treatment.
