Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist

Caelan Rice

Caelan brings an exciting and innovative approach to the Capital Pain and Rehabilitation Clinic team. Caelan completed a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra.

As a member of the Australian Pain Society, Caelan has a particular interest in the rehabilitation and management of both acute injuries and chronic pain. The opportunity to work alongside Dr Geoffrey Speldewinde as a research assistant has allowed Caelan to develop a better understanding of the various treatment options available.

Caelan believes that effective movement is essential for living a prosperous life. To help his clients achieve this, Caelan utilises exercises designed to strengthen the kinetic chain and optimise movement patterns. This enables his clients to complete activities with increased efficiency and confidence to allow them to achieve their goals and get back to what they have previously been doing.

Caelan adopts an holistic approach to his client’s healthcare by working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
