Dr Geoff Speldewinde
Dr Geoff Speldewinde has trained extensively in all aspects of general rehabilitation, specialising further in musculoskeletal and pain management. He is uniquely qualified in specialist injection procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and is Director of Rehabilitation at Calvary John James Hospital. Geoff is President of the Australian Pain Society.
Dr Keith Chan
Dr Keith Chan is a specialist rehabilitation physician with further qualifications in pain management, all gained in the United States. He has a specific interest in nerve conduction studies, as well as specialist intervention procedures.
Andrew Powell is an Exercise Physiologist specialising in the treatment of chronic pain and musculoskeletal injuries. He is an expert in prescribing function-based exercise programs for able-bodied, acute and chronic injuries.
Jude King is an experienced pain Counsellor, educator and the clinics pain program Coordinator. She specialises in group work including Mindfulness practice. Jude also has a special interest in hypnotherapy and infertility counselling.
Deb Sims is a Registered Nurse with many years experience in Anaesthetics, Operating Theatre and Practice Nursing. She assists Drs Speldewinde and Chan with procedures in theatre and in our rooms and provides procedural aftercare.
Tracy Rowe is a Soft Tissue / Remedial Massage Therapist and Dru Yoga Instructor. Tracy has been working for over 10 years as a soft tissue therapist and has a particular interest and dedication to assisting people suffering from chronic pain and stress.
Graeme is an Australian Physiotherapy Association ‘Titled Sports Physiotherapist’ who has worked extensively for 30 years with Canberra’s sporting populations from the professional level (Canberra Raiders, ACT Brumbies and Canberra Capitals to the ‘club’ competitor and recreational athlete. Graeme has a special interest in sporting injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Dr Charles Howse
Dr Charles Howse is a Specialist Sport and Exercise Physician who provides consultative services for the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries for private, military and workers compensation injuries. This includes continuing procedural services of ultrasound guided injections and hydrodilatation of shoulders.
Dr Brian English has over 30 years’ experience as an applied psychologist including specialist knowledge and skills in pain management. His focus is the emotional distress of coping with chronic pain and trauma that impacts on individuals and couples. He also has a special interest in pre-surgical psychological screening.
Elsa Udney is a registered Acupuncturist and Tui Na Therapist. Elsa has over five years’ experience as an acupuncturist and has a particular interest in assisting those suffering from chronic pain. Elsa also has experience in working with patients seeking to improve their functional status.
